Troy Morgan is a visual artist and filmmaker who lives and works in Los Angeles. He studied both film and painting at the San Francisco Art Institute, graduating with a BFA in film. His short animation, "Dragon" won the Grand Jury Prize for best animated short at the Slamdance film festival 2006. It screened in over 50 film festivals worldwide and was featured as a part of Delta Airlines in-flight entertainment.

Morgan creates fantastic worlds set in haunted, luminous landscapes. The characters in Morgan's films often represent the artist as a mythical figure who discovers the power of his or her own creativity. He tells these stories of identity and loss by combining stop motion, hand drawn animation, and computer-generated imagery to create his uniquely lyrical stories.
